AGREEMENT TO OUR LEGAL TERMS
We are Sen Sutra Ltd (‘Company’, ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’), a company registered at 66 Wimpole St, London, United Kingdom.
We operate the website www.senwellnesssanctuary.com (the ‘Site’), as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (the ‘Legal Terms’) (collectively, the ‘Services’).

These Legal Terms constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (‘you’), and Sen Sutra Ltd, concerning your access to and use of the Services, and your booking of any retreat, stay, or wellness programme with us. You agree that by accessing the Services or making a booking, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Legal Terms.
The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to use or register for the Services, save where a minor’s participation in a retreat has been agreed with us in writing at our discretion.
1. OUR SERVICES
The information provided when using the Services is not intended for distribution to or use by any person or entity in any jurisdiction or country where such distribution or use would be contrary to law or regulation. Those who choose to access the Services from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, where applicable.
1A. OUR INTERNATIONAL CARE AND RETREAT SERVICES
Sen Sutra Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales and is responsible for coordinating and overseeing your personalised retreat journey. This may include the initial enquiry process, pre-retreat health assessment, online consultations where appropriate, suitability review, personalised programme planning, and ongoing professional oversight provided by our Medical Director, a UK-registered Osteopath. Where appropriate, postretreat follow-up consultations may also be provided to support continuity of care.
The on-site elements of your retreat are delivered at Sen Wellness Sanctuary, Rekawa Road, Netolpitiya, Tangalle, Sri Lanka. These services may include accommodation, Ayurvedic consultations and treatments, osteopathic consultations and treatment, yoga, meditation, wellness therapies, lifestyle guidance, and other personalised health and wellbeing services delivered by our Medical Director together with our qualified Ayurvedic Doctors and experienced practitioner team.
Our retreats are founded on an integrative model of care, combining evidence-informed healthcare with traditional systems of healing to provide a personalised programme tailored to each guest’s individual needs and wellbeing goals. By confirming a booking, guests enter into a contract with Sen Sutra Ltd for the provision and coordination of these integrated retreat services, with the on-site elements of the programme delivered at Sen Wellness Sanctuary in Sri Lanka. Our full Booking Terms and Conditions, which govern deposits, cancellations, and the delivery of retreat services, are available at to Booking Terms and are incorporated into these Legal Terms by reference.
2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Services, including all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics in the Services (collectively, the ‘Content’), as well as the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the ‘Marks’).
Our Content and Marks are protected by copyright and trademark laws and treaties. The Content and Marks are provided ‘AS IS’ for your personal, non-commercial use only.
Subject to your compliance with these Legal Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the Services and to download or print a copy of any portion of the Content to which you have properly gained access, solely for personal, non-commercial use.
No part of the Services and no Content or Marks may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our express prior written permission. 3. USER REPRESENTATIONS
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that: (1) you have the legal capacity and agree to comply with these Legal Terms; (2) you are not a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside; (3) you will not access the Services through automated or non-human means; (4) you will not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose; and (5) your use of the Services will not violate any applicable law or regulation.
4. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other methods as agreed with our reservations team, as well as bank transfer.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate booking and payment information, and to promptly update this information where it changes. All payments are in US dollars unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to correct any errors or mistakes in pricing, even where payment has already been requested or received.
Deposit and cancellation terms for retreat and accommodation bookings are set out in full in our Booking Terms and Conditions, available at [link], which take precedence over this section in the event of any inconsistency.
5. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Our cancellation and refund policy for retreat and accommodation bookings is set out in full in our Booking Terms and Conditions, available at [link], which forms part of these Legal Terms and is referenced in Section 1A above. In summary: cancellations made 30 days or more before arrival incur a US$100 administration fee with the balance refunded; cancellations made within 30 days of arrival result in forfeiture of the deposit. Please refer to the Booking Terms and Conditions for the full policy, including exceptionalcircumstances provisions.
Separately, we reserve the right to accept or decline any booking, refuse service, and cancel bookings at our absolute discretion. We do not tolerate discriminatory, derogatory, or disrespectful remarks or conduct that undermines the dignity and respect of our guests, team, or location. We welcome guests from around the world who approach our services with respect and appreciation. Bookings may be cancelled without refund, notwithstanding the cancellation policy above, where a guest engages in such conduct at any point during the booking process or their stay.
6. OUR INTEGRATIVE APPROACH TO HEALTH AND WELLBEING
Every retreat at Sen Wellness Sanctuary is personalised and overseen by our Medical Director, a UK-registered Osteopath, in collaboration with our qualified Ayurvedic Doctors. Your programme is designed following careful consideration of your medical history, current health, lifestyle, and personal goals to ensure it is both safe and appropriate for your individual needs.
Our integrative approach combines Ayurveda, osteopathy, yoga, meditation, nutrition, and lifestyle guidance to support your overall health and wellbeing. While our programmes can complement your healthcare journey, they are not intended to replace the diagnosis, treatment, or ongoing care provided by your physician or other healthcare professionals.
7. MEDICAL SUITABILITY AND DISCLOSURE
You must inform us at the time of booking, via your Pre-Retreat Form, of any pre-existing medical conditions, treatments, surgeries, allergies and intolerances. Failure to disclose this information may result in you being unable to take part in some or all of the retreat programme.
Participation in any treatment or activity is subject to medical suitability as assessed by our team. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or decline any part of a programme where we reasonably believe that participation would not be in the best interests of your health and safety.
8. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than that for which we make the Services available.
As a user of the Services, you agree not to:
● Systematically retrieve data or other content to create or compile a collection, compilation, database, or directory without our written permission.
● Trick, defraud, or mislead us or other users, including attempts to learn sensitive account information.
● Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Services.
● Disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm, in our opinion, us and/or the Services.
● Use information obtained from the Services to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
● Make improper use of our support services or submit false reports of abuse or misconduct.
● Use the Services in a manner inconsistent with any applicable laws or regulations.
● Upload or transmit viruses, Trojan horses, or other harmful material, or engage in spamming.
● Engage in any automated or unauthorised use of the system, including data mining or scraping.
● Attempt to impersonate another user or person.
● Interfere with, disrupt, or place an undue burden on the Services.
● Harass, annoy, intimidate, or threaten our employees or agents.
● Attempt to bypass any measures designed to prevent or restrict access to the Services.
● Decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any software comprising the Services, except as permitted by law.
● Use the Services as part of any effort to compete with us.
9. USER GENERATED CONTRIBUTIONS
We may provide you with the opportunity to create, submit, post, or share content through the Services (‘Contributions’). By submitting Contributions, you represent and warrant that they do not infringe any third party’s rights, that you own or have the necessary rights to share them, and that they are not false, unlawful, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
10. CONTRIBUTION LICENCE
We may access, store, process, and use any information and personal data you provide, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not assert ownership over your Contributions; you retain full ownership and are solely responsible for them.
11. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND CONTENT
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or content that we do not investigate, monitor, or endorse. If you access third-party websites through the Services, you do so at your own risk, and these Legal Terms no longer govern.
12. SERVICES MANAGEMENT
We reserve the right to monitor the Services for violations of these Legal Terms, take appropriate legal action where necessary, restrict or disable access to Content, and otherwise manage the Services to protect our rights and property.
13. PRIVACY POLICY We care about data privacy and security. Please review our Privacy Policy at www.senwellnesssanctuary.com/privacy-policy, which is incorporated into these Legal Terms. The Services are hosted in the United Kingdom; by using the Services, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in the United Kingdom.
14. TERM AND TERMINATION
These Legal Terms remain in effect while you use the Services. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and without notice, to deny access to and use of the Services to any person for any reason, including breach of these Legal Terms.
15. MODIFICATIONS AND INTERRUPTIONS
We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the Services at any time, and to modify or discontinue all or part of the Services without notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Services.
16. FORCE MAJEURE
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Legal Terms, or in delivering any retreat, booking, or service, where such failure or delay results from a cause beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: travel disruption, airline cancellation or rescheduling, government restrictions or travel advisories, natural disasters, extreme weather, civil unrest, strikes, and pandemics or other public health emergencies. Where such an event affects the delivery of your retreat, please refer to our Booking Terms and Conditions for how we will seek to resolve this with you.
17. GOVERNING LAW
These Legal Terms are governed by and interpreted following the laws of England and Wales, and the use of the United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded. If your habitual residence is in the EU and you are a consumer, you additionally retain the protection provided to you by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
Sen Sutra Ltd and you both agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, which means you may bring a claim to defend your consumer protection rights in relation to these Legal Terms either in England and Wales, or in the EU country in which you reside.
18. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Informal Negotiations: To expedite resolution and control the cost of any dispute, the parties agree to first attempt to negotiate any dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days before initiating arbitration.
Binding Arbitration: Any dispute arising from the relationship between the parties shall be determined by one arbitrator chosen in accordance with the Arbitration and Internal Rules of the European Court of Arbitration, seated in Strasbourg. The seat of arbitration shall be London, United Kingdom, and the language of proceedings shall be English.
Restrictions: Any arbitration shall be limited to the dispute between the parties individually; no arbitration shall be joined with any other proceeding, and there is no right to arbitrate on a class-action basis.
Exceptions: Disputes concerning intellectual property rights, allegations of theft, piracy, invasion of privacy, or unauthorised use, and any claim for injunctive relief, are not subject to the above provisions.
19. CORRECTIONS
We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions on the Services, and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.
20. DISCLAIMER
The Services are provided on an ‘as-is’ and ‘as-available’ basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Services. This disclaimer applies to the Services generally and does not limit or replace the provisions set out in Section 6 (Our Integrative Approach to Health and Wellbeing) and Section 7 (Medical Suitability and Disclosure) above.
21. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
In no event will we, or our directors, employees, or agents, be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, even where we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
22. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand arising from your use of the Services, breach of these Legal Terms, or violation of the rights of a third party.
23. USER DATA
We maintain certain data you transmit to the Services for the purpose of managing the performance of the Services. Although we perform regular backups, you are responsible for all data you transmit, and we have no liability for any loss or corruption of such data.
24. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS, TRANSACTIONS, AND SIGNATURES
Visiting the Services, sending us emails, and completing online forms constitute electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications and agree that electronic signatures, contracts, and records satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
25. MISCELLANEOUS
These Legal Terms, together with our Booking Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us. Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not operate as a waiver. We may assign our rights and obligations at any time. If any provision is found unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision is severable and does not affect the remaining provisions.
