Meditation & Mindfulness
Meditation is a means of cleansing and transforming the mind. When we meditate we get to know our mind and its habitual thoughts, feelings and reactions. Usually we find there are various ingrained patterns, such as fears, insecurities, attachments, desires and illusions, which have been driving our behaviour without us even realising it.
The more we learn to observe these patterns with curiosity and compassion, rather than reaction and judgement, the more they dissolve, and the more the subconscious is cleansed. This creates a space for us to connect with our highest wisdom and respond from that place rather than being caught in unhelpful reactions. The practice of meditation cuts through the layers of fear and separation clouding our mind, so that our true nature can begin to shine through: we start to perceive things as they actually are, experiencing the true nature of reality and our own true, loving essence.
